Description

This is a new build completed in 2016. First time offered for sale as I have other projects I want to finish. I am an engineer who has been building cars as a serious hobby for 35 years. This car has been put together right with all new parts. It is NOT your typical T Bucket. Because there are a few items left to finish the way the new buyer prefers, I am offering this car for sale for much less than the price of the parts to put it together. Finish the few things left on this yourself and take to the street rod nationals and make some money. You could also just drive the crap out of it and have a lot of fun!
The frame and body are Speedway Motor's "Tribute T" package. Look up the kit on the internet and see what the components cost! This car has the 9 inch ford rear end option. The rear end housing/axles and new pumpkin add $3,400 in cost alone but you will never need to fix the rear end and it will take as much horsepower as you can throw at it.

The frame and welding was all professionally done with TIG-the suspension components are pre-engineered to work right. The body is channeled over the frame for a very low stance. Model A style buggy spring rear suspension.

I have a complete parts list for this car- add everything up you would need to duplicate this and it exceeds $17,500!!!
The car does need final body/paint and carpet/floor mats to be totally finished but body looks good as is in white gelcoat. There are two small repairs in the fiberglass body from shipping damage but they havebeen fixed properly with resin and cloth.

Hot rod vintage style T with a 350 Chevrolet V8 and a 3 speed automatic (TH350) transmission.Transmission has a shift kit and works great. Needs pan gasket as it has a small occasional drip of ATF from pan.

Engine is a 1972 350 four bolt main block with TRW forged pistons andGM LT1 forged crank and LT1 rods, I went through the original 20,000 mile motor and rebuilt it in 2014.Polished crank and new rod and main bearings. Cylinders are .030 over. New rings. It has a mild comp cam and estimated 320 Horsepower. It has a EdelbrockEPS performer manifold with vintage style oil fill and original 1957-62 Corvette magnesium valve covers. New small cap electronic ignition/wires/plugs.
Aluminum gas tank and new model T style radiator with Moto-Meter(temp gauge). I also have a grill shell that goes with car.
Car runs and drivesand has 20 test miles so far. It has a new Edelbrock 600 cfm carb that has factory settings. Probably more tuning needed on carb/ignition to maximize horsepower output. The entire car weighs 1700 pounds!
Has a NEW 3:70 ratio 9 inch Ford Positraction differential pumpkin (31 spline axles).
Dropped I beam front axle with 37-40 Ford spindle, split wishbones, and GM style disc bakes for safe stops.
New rear disc brakes and emergency brake with chrome Lokar Brake handle.
New reversed Corvair steering box and new hot rod column with quick release steering wheel.
New Aluminum Bomber Style seats with bottom pads.
American brand vintage style auto shifter with Hurst boot.
Lap Seat Belts are mounted and included.
Has new Autometer Classic gauges that work properly.
Wired for turn signals which work from switch on dash. Horn is not working but newhorn included.

Long tube headers and side pipes with built in baffles and glass pack mufflers in side pipes. These are paintedblack but not coated. Nice sound at idle but not excessively loud.
New Firestone Bias Ply Classic Coker tires (550-15 and 800-15 size) and new steel wheels 15 by 5 inch in front and 15 by 7 inch in back
This car is not yet titled but has all equipment and paperwork required to obtain inspection and title in Michigan. I added small bumpers front and rear so car would pass inspection for a newly constructed car. The buyer will receive all paper work including manufacturers statement of origin from Speedway Motors, where all of the chassis and body components were purchased.
