Description

1968 Mustang GT optioned convertible, J code 302, automatic, disc brakes,Marti report included! I will be selling this rare carwith lots of extra parts"low reserve", I bought this car from the second ownerwhopurchased it in 1979 hethen started a restoration project that sat in his garage as he collected many extra parts threw the years including a trip to Dearborn, Mi. to buy factory original parts that were still available, the part numbers are still visible inside the panels, the parts include 4 factory GT trim rings, both front fenders "passenger side fenderhad putty applied and they never sanded it, I can barely feel anyimperfectionfrom the inside", both floor pans, hood, lower rear tail panel, front header and front lower cowl also he gave me a rear passenger sidequarter they cut off amustang years ago" must cut out rear marker light to make it correct." The doors are original and very solid with no rust, rockers also look nice, the previous owner also worked at a local body shop and did replace the drivers side rear quarter with originaloempanel, he bonded where the rear antenna hole used to be and never sanded it, the deck lid isalso very solid. The correct vin tag is located on the drivers door along with the correct vin stamp on the passenger side front support,I have a date coded 1968 302 engine that came withthe car but I don't know if its the original engine due to the fact it has a 2 barrel on it and the numbers on the top don't match the vin as you can se, this engine was stored insidesince 1979 so it will need a rebuild,he also gave me the correct vintage 4barrel intake and carb, theautomatic transmission appears to be the originalcode! The frame rails all look solidwith only light surface rust in some areas, the front and rear floor pans need to be replaced, the passenger side quarter needs replacing along withboth sides rear inside lower panels that connect to the rear quarters.I havemany extra parts which include everything you see in the pictures, extra convertible top with nice frame but has a few tears in the material, 1966 mustang Tachometer, extragauge clusterreading 60k,extra 1966 289 engine disassembled, complete with heads, new gasket kit for 302 engine, to many parts to list just look at the pictures everything goes, this would make a great rare restoration project! I would be glad to send extra pictures to any serious buyers, Ihave every picture angle but ebay limits 24 pictures! Thank you and have fun Bidding!
