Description

Here is a Real California Black plates GT Coupe. I purchased the car for a parts so i can restore my fastback GT, but then noticed it was a factory GT and i don't want the mustang enthusiast mob knocking on my door if i were to cut it up . its an original Factory GT coupe, not a clone or wanna be. The Mustang GT and has the following to validate its GT authenticity:
Exhaust rear reinforcement plates
Rear dual exhaust frame brackets
Fog light switch
Grove in dash cluster
Quick turn steering box "HCC-AW"
Front disk brakes
larger sway bar,
rear exhaust cut out holes
Fender GT badges
"No chrome trim on the fenders "GT's never had them"
*doesn't have the front radiator support fog light holes but this was common when the car was being rushed from the factory instead the workers would rout the wires to the corners.
Condition:
The engine may have been swapped, I am not sure but right now it has a 2 barrel carb and manifold. "i dont have time to crawl underneath the car to validate it so its sold as is. The previous owner put the wrong master cylinder on it. it has a drum master cylinder and it should be a larger one to handle to front disk brakes. Has power steering, and moves freely . Mustang has been sitting since 1985, and will need some work done but will be an easy project car as it doesnt need much. Will need a new roof, and side sails replaced "someone used it to store something heavy at one time? will need 2 small floor patches right behind the seats "I will include 2 new full size floor pans"
Front frames look in amazing condition, and the rear trunk area looks great. there are areas of the car like the wheel wells and transition pan that look brand new as it rolled off the factory. Overall this is a very solid car, and could use a good home, i would keep it but my wife can only handle 2 of my project cars at once. :) This is a California Black plate car.
