1961 ford falcon 2 dr best deal on ebay GET-R-DONE restored! no bondo!!

over 20k in her !!! having trouble loading pics i will work on it !! no bondo/mud !!!
what we have here is my 1961 falcon was totally restored a few years ago started with a rust free north carolina car
id say this is the best deal on a falcon on ebay with 1000.00 more or less put in it could be barret jackson car align doors better they close great i mean just the body lines and strikers plates if you want perfect was put together in a hurry when things came up ... nothing serious drive as is
I DO HAVE THE BUILD SHEET THAT WAS UNDER BACK SEAT :)
im just talking if your anal you may want to take a few hours and align doors better ect most people would not notice 1/8th inch here and there remember we took every nut and bolt off this car doors ect ect. simple to align loosen bolts and move hinges in or out up or down and loosen strikers and slide in slightly ect prob take you an hour or so.
every nut and bolt removed all glass and interior removed engine trans ect removed all suspension removed
body sandblasted in and out
was put back together with all new parts engine and trans gone through ! engine and trans clutch ect has aprox 200-400 miles on it!!
from sitting there is some minor paint bubbling but no rust (must have been something on it when painted on trunk lid} and there are very few paint imperfections on car would be wet sanded out... i believe its from the wax and grease remover we used) rechromed bumpers all new suspension rebuilt carb (which may or may not need tweaking but im pretty sure its the gas).
it runs and drives good but id drain old gas as hesitation right after idle gas had stable in it and ive run it every year just to keep juices flowing but like i said gas is old i did take it around the block twice this spring runs good idles great just that slight hestitation right after idle also could be a jet is dirty
all new brakes lines hardware ect all brand new interior except a few of the knobs for heat control ect...(cheap on ebay) new glove box door panels carpet exhaust gas tank lines ect ect
you dont realize the labor that went into this car!!!!!!!! and the $$$$$
i ran into a lot of things 7 years ago do to wifes health ect and mine and sold my home moved into my duplex i own ect and was put on hold only thing needs is trunk buttoned up i bought the trunk matt and weather stripping and side fillers 1 hour job tops.
i also have the rubber door stops on the way they just pop in. (got them there now in)
pretty much it all glass is mint
could prob win shows the way it is
i was tempted to make a pro street out of it or gasser but once got this far why?
i finally put it in my name and bought collector plates this spring thinking id use as daily summer driver ...
but once again things come up yesterday had major car trouble on our second car and im looking to buy a new 2017 fusion to replace it last year i bought a new grand caravan at our age they will last our life time and am looking for a cottage on the lake and a pontoon boat... and no more worries stress kills!!
falcon has the 144 6cyl was bored .10 over all new internals 3 spd manual trans was tooken apart cleaned and checked out perfect new clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing ect
all new shocks front an rear front ones heavy duty ready foer v-8 if wish new front suspension ect this car has never seen rust!

i dont think you can go wrong my ins company appraised and insured it for 18,500.00
oh front end align seems fine but i was going to take it in and have it checked goes straight down the road ...
remember its a 61 not going to handle like a mustang lol its gonna handle like a 61 falcon

few other things i have forgot its a sweet car!!!!!!!!!

i myself would maybe drive it home if you lived within 100 miles ? after gas or carb problem solved id drive anywhere the gas tank was also brand new im sure no rust in it as tank was kept mostly full and clear fuel filter shows no rust ect and i pulled sending unit just to see if was rust in tank no looks like new on bottom gas is a little yellow though maybe from the stabil ???
if you want to drive it farther for a few hundred dollars ill take it to a shop and have fuel and carb checked out i can no longer deal with working on gas related stuff the smell gets me sicker than a dog done it to many times and caught up to me.. gets me super ill !
