Up for auction is a very original 1969 Ford Torino GT Sport roof in green with black striping. The car haszero rust and all panels & paintare original. It has the GTpackage with the GT bagging and hood scopeoption in the Sport roof model. This Torino came with the 351W engine that has been rebuilt by Bradford Balance & Machine, with Comp Cams XH262 cam and Edelbrock 600 carb. The transmission is the original C4,that went through a disassemble and reseal last fall at local trans shop, no leaks, works great.A 1968 4 row big block radiator was installed when the engine was rebuilt. Rear end gears are the 275's.
Modifications: 1 1/8" front sway bar with Addco 3/4" rear sway bar. Vintage Air Gen II Super Cooler- 1968 Torino AC dash and vents. (looks good with the chrome fins) A new Vintage Air switch panel comes with and needs installed. Kenwood Sound System with 2-100 watt amps, EQ with sub control, IR mounted in dash for remote with head unit in glove box, and 2-10" subs in the trunk. (It Rocks)
The interior is very nice with new carpet - Original appearing front seat cover set on rebuilt seat, andthe 1968 lower AC dash with AC vents. (Looks very nice, no cracks in dash pad) It also has the optional shoulder seat belts from the factory.
New Instillations: New master cylinder. Complete front end rebuild: everything except center link has been replaced. (New control arms and A arms with Moog ball joints, spring perches, the whole smash) New steering box, steering proportioning valve, steering cylinder, power steering pump. All work done by G&A frame shop in Lewiston Idaho. (It drives beautifully)
This is a original paint survivor with a few nicks and scratches but looks good for its age.The windshield dose have a small stone chip in itbut all the other glass is good and windows roll up and down as they should.(Please look at pictures closely) I'm listing this beautiful Torino for a friend and will take all questions to him. He has owned and babied this car for the past 15 years, but now is looking forward to restoring his 1968 Torino, so he would like to sale to some one that will appreciate this car as he has.
