This is a very nice rare bus. The guy I got this from said it was repainted a while ago. It'sa little dull and faded on the paint, but WOW on the body. I haven't sent a mouse through but from whatI can tell, I don't think this has ever seen any rust. Inside and out it is really nice. The original engine has been replaced with a fully rebuilt 1966 Ford 200 six-cylinder, and I am told that it has around 3,500 miles on it since it was done (it would originally have had a 170).The brakes, exhaust, and transmissionhave been redone. It has really nice wheels and tires and has an extra set of original wheels and hub caps with studded tires as well. It comes with a full aftermarket under dash a/c set up that just needs to be installed. There is a brand new set of vent window seals anda windshield seal included. It also has the original owner's manual in the glove box, as well as a Chilton's manual and another parts manual. There are receipts included that go back about 12 years. The previous owner also threw in (and they are included) a set of interior window camper trims - this is for the camper kit that was made for this bus. You could install it and then put in curtains if you like.
This wagon does run and drive. It has an aftermarket Pony brand carburetor and a new battery. It also has a heavy duty radiator and electric fan backup with toggle switch (pictured). It has a manual transmission and three-on-the-tree shift.
This jewel won't last long. Let's get going - you can get it to drive for the summer!
