1964 Ford Futura 4Dr Sedan. This is probably the nicest all original true survivor examples out there with 37,700 original miles. This car has been a private collectors car since 1996 when it was purchased from the original owner, who gave up driving due to age. The car has had the best of everything. Always stored indoors, never out in the winter, and serviced to the hilt. The car boasts 100% original paint on all panels in the original diamond enamel which is very shiny. There are a few minor (tiny) chips in a couple of spots, but I would have to point them out or you would miss them. The original dealer tag is on the trunk lid and matches up with the warranty registration and dealer paperwork from original on day one. All manuals and brochures are also present with the selling dealer stamp on them. All glass is perfect and original. The chrome and stainless is pristine. Only very few, very light spider web crazing on the door handles. They almost don't show except upon the closest inspection. The interior is also without flaws and has next to no fade at all. The carpets, seats, floor mats, headliner (white) and trim are as close to new as you can get. Under the hood is highly detailed and shows as new. All original Fo.Mo.Co. decals are present. The original paint inspection stamps are present in various areas on the car. The trunk shows as new and retains its original mat and finish. Over the last few years the car has had all the mechanical restoration required. The engine & transmission have had new gaskets and the front end has had all new bushings, tie rods and ball joints. The car has had a complete tune up, new shocks, belts and hoses as well as a new rad and heater core. The carb has recently been overhauled and all new filters have been installed. The car retains most of the oil change stickers from the mid 70's to present in the drivers door jam. The complete brake system has been renewed including wheel cylinders, fluid and shoes. The car has 5 new white wall radials replacing the original Goodyear 600-13 bias ply tires. The closest attention to detail has been payed in every area. The car just completed a 700 mile round trip in 2 days at interstate speed without so much as a hick-up! The car has been rustproofed and perma-shined many times. All weather seals are tight and there is no wind noise on the highway, even at 70MPH. The car has many wins to its credit at car shows also. There is nothing the car needs and could be driven cross country if you wished! You won't find a nicer one out there! Please keep in mind they are only original once! This one has been kept up to the highest standards for no other reason but that, by a very, very fussy collector. Movies, cruise nights, shows, highway travels to the lake, or simply a Sunday evening dessert run to D.Q. ... you will enjoy with no headaches or troubles.
