After almost 20 years of ownership, it is time to sell my Mustang. I bought this car in February of 1998 with 38,000 miles on it. Over7 years, it served as my daily driver before I retired it to hobby car status at 100,000 miles. Almost all of the modifications weredone after that time. I have worked in the auto repair industry for almost 30 years and did most of the modifications myself, while those that I didn't want to tackle were done at Brad's Custom Auto in Seattle.
This car started life as a white convertible with a white top and white interior, along with an automatic transmission. Please note that this car is not a white "Feature Car", just a regular Mustang LX convertible. Along with the extensive list of modifications below, I swapped the automatic transmission for a T-5 manual transmission. This was done the right way, using all factory parts.

Other than the hood and trunk lid, all the body panels and paint are original. The carpet, dash and door panels are original and in excellent shape. The doors shut like a new car. The top was replaced by Convertibles Only in Seattle in 2004 with a Hartz top and is still in very good condition with no leaks whatsoever. As you can see, all of the modifications were done using the best parts available. This car drives very tight, makes great power and can be driven anywhere. It has been garage kept for my entire time of ownership.
This car truly is one of the nicest Foxes left around. In the interest of complete disclosure, here are the "cons" of this car:
Air conditioning was removed when the engine work was done.
Power windows work, butare a little slow.
Power door locks are inoperative.
The underhood A/C parts were removed, but the evaporator is still under the dash, so it wouldn't be difficult to reinstall. I have replaced the power door lock actuators once already with the aftermarket pieces from Late Model Restoration. They lasted two months. I have a set of used actuators that I will include with the car.
The car has SLP Loudmouth exhaust on it. The quality of this stuff is unbelievable and the parts are completely modular and easily changed. The Loudmouth is indeed loud. As such, I will include a set of SLP Powerflo mufflers that I havethat bolt directly in. These tone the exhaust note down substantially. I decided that I liked the Loudmouth better and put them back on. Here is a short video clip of the exhaust. http://s78.photobucket.com/user/wythors/media/20170403_163806_zps4uezpdtf.mp4.html
I also have a very nice car cover that will be included.
Now the transaction stuff.
At the end of the auction, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is to be paid by Paypal within 24 hours. The transaction is to be completed within 72 hours by either a bank transfer or a cashier's check drawn on Chase Bank or Bank of America only. Upon receipt of the second payment, I will FedEx the title and a set of keys to the new owner. Shipping is the responsibility of the new owner, but I will be glad to facilitate getting the car picked up. I have sold several cars on eBay and this is old hat. Happy bidding.
NOTE: Please do not waste my time asking "what's the reserve" or making lowball offers.
