1954 Ford Customline 4 Dr, 3 Speed Manual
Description
The car was mostly restored by a shop in philly.
Rebuilt the motor, replaced the glass, various moldings, either re-chromed or replaced the front and rear bumpers and repainted the entire exterior and wheels, installed power steering, new wiring harnesses in the engine bay. I just installed a brand new 6V Battery 2 months ago. The seats were partially recovered as well.I have receipts from the shop on my computer totaling nearly $22k, not including most of the parts provided.
The car does still need a few things to finish it off
There is a new "Dual" model head unit installed, but the 6 to 12v converter must not be working. It won't power on.
There is no Antenna
Something is wrong with the clutch, the car jerks coming out of first gear
The tires need to be replaced, they are very old bias ply tires.
The door handles were not replaced/rechromed, there is pitting
The chrome part above the front bumper was not chromed so it has wear
There is some oil leaking
