Description
1962 Mercury M100 Unibody Longbox Pickup, very rare and in good condition for its age. There were only about 8000 Mercury trucks built in 1962 in which there were very few Unibody's made.
This truck is complete, all Mercury mouldings are present, it also has rare optional steeringwheel. Tailgate Mercury letters area is in great shape with some outer boxed area rust. Very minimal exterior rust, solid frame, will need lower A pillar repair panels for cab. Interior is complete and comes with a new chrome drivers door rear view mirror. Original gas tank included, not sure why it was replaced. Trucks original color is blue and has been repainted years ago a metallic burgundy which now has a nice patina rat rod look for a shop truck.
This truck could easily be converted into a short box unibody to work with common crown victoria frame conversion.
TITLE: There is a clear Oklahoma title, but was incorrectly titled as a 1964 Mercury by the State of Oklahoma as original title was lost. Also includes receipt
for new title from Oklahoma.Original 223 6 cylinder engine runs great, needs carb work as it seems needle seat or main jet is plugged, fuel pump is working fine but engine not getting fuel through carburetor, which is the reason for starting fluid to run. watch video below.
