Description

This is a NO RESERVE auction so it will sell regardless of price. Bidding will start at $1 and the high bidder will be the new owner (please don't bid unless you are a serious buyer - I put it on here to sell). This is a running, driving, very rare E Code 1957 Thunderbird Convertible with Removable Porthole Hardtop. 312ci/270 HP Dual Quad engine. Engine, carb setup, alum intake all appear to be factory original and in nice shape. Starts, Runs, and Drives good. Very complete and mostly original hard to find car. Rust on lower panels. Mainly left rocker and right rear lower fender. Solid frame, underside, floor and trunk pans (there is some surface rust but its all solid). Spare tire tub has rust hole in bottom. Headlights work on both bright and dim. Brake lights work. Clearance and signals work sometimes. Dome light above radio works. Original tach works. Town and Country Signal Seeking Radio works but needs antennae. Fan motor works but not switch. Brakes work (factory power brakes there but not hooked up). Factory power steering works good. Telescoping steering wheel works good. Tires are decent. Original hubcaps in nice shape. Not sure if 3 speedmanual transmission is factory correct (probably a factory automatic - looks like tranny tunnel has been reworked). VIN tag doesn't seem to show if its factory manual or automatic transmission. Speedometer shows 70,043 miles but not working. Complete exhaust to rear bumper corners (exhaust leak out the donut). Factory porthole removeable hardtop in decent shape (paint is peeling and rear window needs to be reinstalled - chrome trim included). I think the factory original car color is colonial white with a black and white interior. Dash needs to be recovered. Electric windows (right works, left not working). Chrome decent (some pitting on the bumpers, good trim). It can be driven around just finebut not a daily driver right now but wouldn't take much to put it on the road. Touch it up a bit and drive it while fixingthe minor stuffor do a professional restoration and bring to Barrett Jackson and watch her sell for near six figures. Very nice unrestored original condition overall. Excellent investment that will do nothing but increase in value over the years. Clear MN title. I can store for a while as long as its paid for right away. Pick it up whenever you're ready. You're welcome to come and take a look at it for yourself before bidding, just call me. Under 10 feedback, contact me before bidding. Call or email with questions 320-237-8398. Serious buyers only please. It's here to sell. BID TO OWN - NO RESERVE. Thanks
