Description

Available now from Surf City Garage in Huntington Beac, Ca. is an absolutely beautiful 1969 BOSS 302.This Boss will not disappoint, we encourage interested parties to stop in and inspect, drive or just admire one of the best examples of a 1969 Boss 302 to be found anywhere.Surf City Garage is world famous for two things, producing the finest Enthusiast Grade car care products money can buy, and maintaining a collection of " Best in Show" muscle cars on display at our Corporate headquarters in Southern California. On rare occasion we let one of our beloved cars go to a new home to make room for new arrivals. This Beautiful Boss 302 is looking for a new home and will surely please it's new owner far beyond their expectations.
Finished in its original color of Calypso Coral #1730-A. This incredible Icon of 1960’s Detroit muscle was delivered to Yates Stevens Ford in Kirkwood Mo. on May 8th 1969. With only 202 Boss 302’s produced in Calypso Coral this car is one of only a handful left on the planet.
The original 3.91 Traction-Lok differential is still in the car as well as most every other part installed at the Factory. The Block is a Service Replacement SR-B code warranty block as many of the Boss 302 cars had their blocks replaced under warranty after a fun day at the track. I’m pretty sure Ford re-thought their warranty coverage on Factory race cars after the Boss era.
The car has been carefully restored and runs as new. Driving in a straight line or around corners in this car you immediately think to yourself “this car was way ahead of its time”. Transmission shifts perfectly and brakes stop on a dime. No power steering on this Boss as it should be for a Road & Track rocket right from the Ford Dealer in 1969. Interior is in near perfect condition and the exterior is like looking at a mirror. All lights and gauges work as they should. This is a very high end NO excuses example of an Amazing Boss 302. Full Marti report included and Clear CA title in my name in hand.
