Description

1970 Ford F-250 Custom- western climate survivor -- daily driver -
This classic pickup has endured the test of time. Originally sold in Grand Coulee Washington, this F-250 saw service life as a farm department vehicle in Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon. The character and patina present well to the history of this rugged American truck.
We acquiredthis truck as a daily driver, in the high desert of Oregon, and drove it to our shop location in Eagle Idaho summer of this year. We have put near 400 miles on it, and feel we can attest well to the overall condition of the vehicle. It's in original colors, original paint. Never been repainted or restored.
At some point in the last 20 years, the original 360 cid V-8 was rebuilt into a 390 cid. We measured the stroke to confirm. Engine Pulls strong, however has some minor oil leaks as is typical to an old FE engine. Also some oil smoke/oil burn. Not prohibitive to daily use. We averaged 14.5mpg on our highway trip back to Idaho, and she ran reliable. A joy to drive. No over-heating.
Let's breakdown the VIN:

We're very pleased with how clean this original paint on this truck shows. It's a head-turner as is, not because of any restoration work, photo editing, or shifty camera work. But because of the classic lines, nostalgic feel, and genuine western patina that this truck represents.
As always all of our photos are current, and unfiltered.
Let's look at a few needs this truck does have;Bench seat needs re-upholstery. (We have local contacts if you're so interested, feel free to inquire. )Engine could use some fresh top-end gaskets, eventually rings and a head-job. Not at all critical or immediate concerns.Original AM radio needs re-installed. (Included).Small rock chip in the windshield.Rear shocks are squishy.
As always; We've given her a fresh tune-up, including carb kit, oil change, fresh coolant, timing adjustment, and overall inspection. We know exactly what to look for mechanically, and body-wise in the 67-72 Ford pickup. We haven'tfound any serious concerns. Shifts very well, brakes and steers good, drives comfortably. Tires are good, and 80%. There is zero cancerous rust spreading anywhere. There is however a few minor rust places, shown in the photos, oddly the one place on the side ofthe drivers side fender. Cab mounts, floors, corners are all solid with no cancer. Drip rails perfect. No holes in the core support, cab, or bed bottom. Doors open/close nicely. No unusualengine or drive-train noises.
1967-1972 Bumpside Ford pickups is what we do. We know exactly what to look for in these trucks. Please see my feedback for previous testimonials.
