1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe. Kewanee Green and Elkpoint Green/Tan. No rumble seat. This lovely coupe was restored for touring purposes and has toured extensively, more than 10K miles, over the last eight or nine years. 12 volt system with alternator and a plug-in for a trickle charger. Electric ignition and turn signals. 4-speed conversion kit from a late-model Ford pickup. F100 steering box. Weber down-draft carburetor. Five beautiful bent-spoke Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels with chrome beauty rings. Slight scuff on left rear fender. From its home outside Portland, Oregon this little coupe has traveled, on separate occasions, to Las Vegas, to Colorado, and to Canada. Well known in club circles. Also has its original sales documents from 1930! These documents show that the car was originally purchased from Francis Motor Co. in Portland to Edna May Messenger. The documents show that Ms. Messenger put down $225 of the $763.56 purchase price with payments of about $30 for 18 month. Very neat stuff! Ready to tour again this summer. Don't miss it!
