Description

1918 Ford Model T Touring car, well restored with many fresh upgrades for reliable touring. Notable features of this nice car include:

  • New 30 x 3.5 all-white Wards Riverside tires, gives this all-black Model T a ‘tuxedo’ appearance, with the ‘cumberbund’ side mounted all white tire.
  • Era correct after-market metal tool box mounted to the running board
  • High compression domed pistons and high compression head in addition to high volume intake manifold – much more power than a standard setup.
  • Added after-market shock coils, smoother ride than standard.
  • New upholstery and top
  • Side mount spare tire, also new all-white Wards Riverside tire
  • Freshly added electric starter, rebuilt magneto which generates 13 volts AC at idle and 27 volts AC at high RPMs.
  • All main and rod bearings adjusted, zero end play on crankshaft, new domed pistons and rings, new NH carburetor, fresh radiator, high compression cylinder head has been decked and fresh head gasket installed, all coils tuned, car runs great.

Many other new parts, chrome and nickel plated accessories, too numerous to list. There are minor oil leaks, typical of all Model T's, and the exterior paint has imperfections and was done several years ago but does not detract significantly from the vehicles's good appearance overall.
