When you put a Model A body on a 32 frame; you have an AV8. The body is steel by
Brookville Roadster. The quarter panels where doubled; this gives you about 10” more
Room.; and you have a regular seat by TEA’s. Leather of course. I put two rolled up chairs
Behind the seat. Very comfortable to drive. The battery and 16 gallon tank are in the bed ;and
The front 3 ½ gal tank works also. The parachute works, if you want to pack it. The top will not
Go down due to the extended cab and the roll bar. Four bolts and the top comes off. The
Motor was a eleven thousand dollar project. It is a 49-53 block, bored to 3 5/16”; with a
4” Mercury crank. 276 cu. In. It has a Potvin 3/8ths full race cam. Ground by Bill Jenks himself.
I have the cam card. Isky solids. The intake is a sharp 2 carb manifold with straight linkage. The
Center carb is a dummy. The inside of the block was painted with Glyptal. The motor is completely
Balanced. The frame is a SoCal 32 boxed and pinched to match the 29 cowl. The complete
Roller is SoCal. It has the Buick look alike front bakes with the Weldwood racing brakes hidden inside.
The trans is a ford c4 automatic and a ford 9inch (350)rear end. The quick change is a dummy. I have 42 thousand in receipts and I did all the work except the pain, engine and interior. The car has 1186miles
On it. Never been driven In the rain, never smoked in,and Never been dirty.
