1967 Mustang Deluxe Resto-Mod
Description
There are two options to get this car as it sits in the listing for the posted price... or, minus the front and rear seats, wheels and tires, and aftermarket gauges and shifter and steering wheel for $7950 cash.So you'd want to bring your owntires and wheels and steering wheel for transport at least.
This is a true one owner car from Haggerman Idaho. It Was parked since 1978 under tarps. We gutted the rotted interior and completely restored it.This was a factory HO 225 HP 289 4V with a 4 bble carb. The only other 289 HO engine mustangs came with was the K code car with 271 HP.We've included a few pics from the day we picked it up from sitting since 78. It was covered with heavy tarping and wrapped tight. although, dirt still got under the tarps. It has a C4 (disassembled, and pending stage II rebuild. But price will go up if you want this done). This car has ZERO RUST. The under carriage is Perfect. This is an A-code package. Luxury interior and A/C with power assist steering and power disc brakes, The wheels and tires are literally brand new. With ZERO miles and 20,000 mile warranty. The rears are 17" X11 and fronts are 17" x 9 new lifetime warranty cragars and new lugs and locks.New bumpers, mirrors and tail light trim, new rear glass. I replaced the hood. It's an original dent free with ZERO BODY RUST; not a cheap aftermarket. The rear valance is NEW OLD STOCK factory ford. Not imported. (Not shown in pics)Has more than $4k in the interior and more than 200 hours labor. The interior is dyna-matted from the floor to the roof. Best carpet, dash, custom tailored TMI seats with new pro-touring foam with enhanced upper and lower bolsters to KEEP you in the seats! all new trim, dash, panels, screws, gauges, cranks, washers, bolts, steering wheel, headliner, shifter, weatherstripping, console, stainless steel sill plates, Literally EVERYTHING on the interior is brand new! The engine bay is gutted. Ready for work and repaint. All receipts. The interior is near finished.. possibly another 12 hours and it will 100% complete inside: needs the aftermarket gauges wired up, needs racing switch panel wired up, needs a/c ducting behind glove box and glove box installed after switch panel wiring is done, needs small misc touches to Complete. . All window motors and assemblies were removed and cleaned and re greased. Then re installed. Has a 3:00 rear end. Engine bay is cleaned up, but not panted yet. Windshield will be replaced in 2-3 weeks too if this does not sell by then. And the price will go up the more I do to it.
No engine. Sadly the original owner flogged it so bad he blew a hole it the side of the block. Was a fairly rare engine too. But not as rare as a "K" code. The body had previous minor dent damage to quarters and has some filler, but not a lot. couple small dings near driver side scoops.
Top-most bolt holes for Hood hinge mounts in engine bay aprons, (not the hood itself) are needing repaired/ replaced ( they are $35 apiece online. Looks like they were ripped out, and holes are where the welded OEM Nuts used to be. Hood bolt holes are fine though, not a hood issue at all.Needs slight welding repair where battery used to sit. (Front apron. easy repair. I don't own a welding machine, else I'd fix it. However, I will most likely buy the replacement aprons and take the car to a welding shop this summer and have them installed. Then, I will media blast the entire front bay and clip, and repaint it. The price will go up if I do this.Hood is ORIGINAL 67 from another car.. rust-free and no dents. Original owner who blew up this engine also cut a hole in the hood. We were fortunate to locate a nice OEM replacement.
Priced fairly.
