1937 Ford Panel truck
Description
You are bidding on a 1937 Ford Panel truck. This was restored approx. 20+ years ago, has been in storage, and has seen very little service since. Possibly 500 miles have been put on this in the last 20 years. This project started with a nice solid truck, all steel with the exception of the fiberglass front fenders. The rear fenders are NOS. Everything on this truck was rebuilt at that time, including engine, transmission, cooling system, fuel system, brakes (upgraded to 1939 hydraulic), new OEM wiring, tires, glass, still 6 volt electrical system, etc. All of the gauges are present but some do not work, these include temperature, oil, and fuel. The speedometer, odometer, and trip gauge do work. The engine in this truck is the rare smaller flathead V8 that produces 60 hp. It starts and runs very smoothly and quiet, no leaks, smoke, etc. The truck runs down the road just fine and stops straight. The body is still in excellent condition, very straight. The paint could use a good polishing but no noticeable damage or problems. There are still a few things that need to be purchased or completed to be totally complete... there are no hubcaps, no glove box, floor mat, kick panels, etc. The pictures pretty much tell the story. The windshield wipers are complete but do not work. The inside rear wheel housing covers do come with the vehicle but are not installed, they will need to be painted. 90% of the wood in the rear compartment is original in in good condition. If you have any questions please email me. The truck is sold without any warranty. Winning bidder will be responsible for all transportation fees. The truck is located in Logan, Utah and can be inspected in person. Thanks for looking.
