Offered for sale is a 1973 Ford F-250 Custom. I purchased this one year ago and began to restore. I have since purchased another project vehicle and cannot work on both. What has been done so far:
·New interior except steering wheel and radio (radio does not work)
·New carburetor and various engine work (starts right up and runs well)
·New American Racing Wheels and Michelin Tires
The truck has some rust in the drivers pan that I think is surface only (not rusted through). I sealed with rust resistant paint prior to carpeting, but I did not install the interior floor trim (which is included) so that buyer can inspect and decide if they want to replace the pans. Also included are two new body corners that can easily be cut and welded in to take care of the only rusted through area, as well as new door seals. The rest of the body looks pretty straight, so it is ready to go to body and paint for one great looking classic truck. I have not gone through anything down below (steering, suspension or exhaust), but it rides well for a 44-year-old truck. There are other miscellanies small issues like a crack in the windshield and a small transmission leak, but remember, it is a classic old truck not a brand new Super Duty. Much invested and already completed so the Buy It Now price is a great deal.
