ALMOST UNSTOPPABLE!
This 1989 F250 wasprofessionally built in 2012 by a local 4x4 specialty shop ($20,000 in receipts available). The Ford twin I-beam frontsuspension was replaced with a Dana 60 sporting 4.88 gears and a Detroit Locker differential. The 10.25 Ford rear differential also received 4.88 gears with a Detroit Locker differential. The tires are 385/70Rx16 (37”) TOYO Open Country ($1927.60) on 16x10 Black Wagon Wheel steel rims ($743.15), including the matching spare. All this rides on a Skyjacker 4” lift.
The fuel injected 351 has been refreshed, the clutch is new (5-speed manual), and the transfer case was rebuilt. The fuel tank and fuel pump were replaced. The WARN winch is rated at 12,000 lbs. Power steering, power brakes, and factory A/C (needs charge). Dual batteries, on-board Premier Welder ($900.00). PIAA driving lamps. There is a goose neck hitch in the bed, and a 2” receiver on the rear. The body is solid with minor surface rust in a few spots.
This unit has only seen 3,200 miles since being built.
