1940 FORD DELUXE SEDAN TWO DOOR STREET ROD SHOW CAR FIXER UPPER

Description

Here's a 1940 Ford deluxe sedan. Family built and showed show cars a long time ago. This one never got finished, and sat garaged for over 50 years. Has a 283 chevy motor that I was told with 3/4 race cam. Has 3, 2 barrels, duel magneto. I tried to turn motor over by hand, did not bulge. I guess back then you pieced together a show car with what looked good. The taillights are cad bullets as seen on the shelf. There are boxes of parts that looks like original stuff. The dash was redesigned, see photo. I did not see the steering column, If you purchase, do not pay through eBay, cash and pickup only within seven days after purchase. Been in family a long time, would like to see it go to someone who will fix it up and not for parts. The title is, issued in 1957, and I blacked out name on picture. There is no reserve, so could go for starting price. Come look at it first if you like. I added a couple more pics to show that trunk and floor is not rusted thru. Any questions, feel free to ask.
