Description

Hello, up for grabs is my 1976 Ford Maverick. The 1st 2 pics is what it looks like now. An aqaintence of mine happend to stop by my garage one day and was poking around and found the keys to the Maverick and thought it would be a good idea to take it for a rip. Needless to say it didn't end up too well. I had an offer o. The car for $5,200 before the accident. I do not feel like fixing it due to too many other projects and lack of time and mental real estate. Car ran pretty good, Headers, brand new 2.5 inch exhaust, flow masterMufflers, new carpet. Southern solid Tennessee car. It had a small 1.5 in hole in the floor which I just fiberglassed for a short term fix. Rebuilt 600 Holly carb. Electric fan, battery in trunk, subframe connectors, not sure of the trans or rear. It is not a C4 or C6. The rear has been upgraded to handle the V8 but just not familiar to what it is. Disc front, drum rear, clutch pedal hangs under the dad and tucked under the carpet if anyone wants to do a 4 or 5spd swap. Custom garage's in the dash. Speedo and gas gauge inop, brand new gas tank and sender. 17 in vintage ansen slot wheels look perfect on this. The vaccum modulator on the trans needs to be swapped out, it takes a little bit for it to kick into gear when cold. It also suffers a little from vapor lock on hot days. Front end and shocks could probably use a freshening up but all is tight and goes down the road straight. It fires right up, stops and moves fine but tires rub one of the fenders right now. It will need a bumber, grill, fenders, and possibly a radiator support. The grabber hood needs work too, looks good from the top but is rotted underneath the front lip. It comes with a second blue regular hood that you can fix the grabber with if desired. Lower 1/4s, floors, and entire car are really solid. There are a few spots on the body that may require attention down the road but it is presentable at the moment for a driver quality fixer upper.
