Description

This is a car that has only been driven a few times a year for the past 35+ years. I have owned the car since 1979. The car has had 2 other owners, my brother and a good family friend, so I know the cars complete history. The car was repainted (same color) approximately 30 years ago. Like any car that has been driven there are some paint chips etc. the worst being on the rear just under the stripe on the trunk lid. I know there is some putty in both rear quarters/ trunk area. The car needs a new floor pan under the drivers feet. That being said the car is in great shape and run and drives very well for a car almost 50 years old.
The car comes with a factory fresh 1970's 351C 2B with approximately 12,000 miles. It has an FMX automatic transmission. The original motor a 351W 2B (taken apart) is included for those that might like to restore the car to factory specs.
The car is mostly original. Where something has been changed from original I have saved the parts so the car can be returned to factory specs. The following things have been added from original. Folding rear seat, headers, rear valance with exhaust cutouts, 1970 shelby console with gauges and AM/FM radio. The motor turns over slowly only when hot, I believe this is due to the closeness of the headers to the the starter motor.
