Once in awhile a car will catch your attention and bring to you instant desire . This beautiful and tasteful 68 Convertible Stang just calls you over to take a better look . The Shimmering Lime Gold Poly paint with White Pearl racing stripes and GT C Stripe stop you and spin you on a dime . This car was resprayed over 10 years ago and still looks fresh and shiney new ! The white pearl stripes are brilliant in the sunshine and with the Dark green Convertible Top down the Lime Gold Stang takes on a whole different stance and appeal . The interior has been renewed and is in showroom condition . All the gauges and lights are functioning as well as the Console lights and indicator lights. The Power convertible tops works effortlessly and makes easy task to lower and raise . The top was replaced during the restoration refresh and has hardly any wear and no tear ! The A/C system is all replaced with modern components and works perfectly and very efficien, a big item to have on this car ! No heater system is included and will need tobe installed if desired . The drivetrain is a period correct replaced and rebuilt enhanced 302 with a Holley 4bb, Dual exhaust with Headers. The motor runs smooth and quiet and pulls effortlessly down the highway at 60 mph with the slightest push on the pedal. The transmission engages and shifts correctly and is tight and smooth on acceleration . This car drives smooth and straight as well as a 1968 originally did and the power steering makes this car a delight for the Ladies . My personal opinion would be to upgrade the front suspension and bushing with polyester links and new upgrades shocks to give it a firmer tighter feel . As it is is as it was and if you are a cruiser its a feel that many appreciate from these era cars. This car was refreshed and has had floor pans replaced and a respray and retains its original color and interior trim color . There are some minor touch ups on the exterior and a repair on the hood at the tip that shows upon close inspection. Overall the car shows extremely well and is a strong runner and driver with a presence that will steal attention every minute you are in it !
