Description

For sale is a 1980 Shay Reproduction 1929 Ford Model A. Originally sold in Ford dealerships around the country, this Black and yellow roadster has a nice running 4 cylinder engine with a manual transmission. The current owner purchased the car in 1983 and the car now has about 5,000 miles on it. The current title shows 56,690 because one of the owners employees incorrectly stated the mileage when the car was inspected many years ago. This is a fun, reliable classic that gets lots of attention.
I am selling this car for the owner (for the last 34 years). I will cooperate with the shipper of your choice if you are not local.

The car is located at the owners house and I was able to get to see it today ( I did not take the original pictures). The whitewalls on the tire do appear to have some crazing, maybe dry-rot but I did not see any cracking on the black rubber portion of the tires. There are a number of scratches on the black paint as can be expected for any car that is 37 years old. There were some side curtains on the floor if the rumble seats that appeared to be in good condition but I did not install them. I was told that they were never used as long as he owned the car. There is a heater under the seat but I have no idea how to operate it so I cannot say how it worked. I was told that the fuel gauge was not working. I did try to start the car and it fired right up. The car is very presentable but could use a good detailing and the carpet is faded and loose. The paint is not show quality but is in nice shape. I have added pics showing scratches that I found, the heater, crazing on the whitewalls, and a rip in the corner of the seat.
