1963 Ford Falcon 4 door sedan. 64000 miles. For sale in Oakland County Michigan (Metro Detroit). It was warehoused for at least 12 years and used as a show car by the previous owner (who posted old photos on the falcon registry), and has mostly lived in my garage since 2010 with very limited local mileage. All major parts are original except for the addition of a dual master cylinder (I kept the original single in case someone wants to be a purist and reinstall it). Upholstery is not original. It starts and runs well, with a newly overhauled carburetor. Body is largely rust free, with some slightly rusty areas on the undercarriage. Brakes are good, and transmission is good (though after being garaged for a few months during the winter it takes a few miles of driving before it starts shifting gears when it should, and this pattern has repeated every year for as long as I have owned it). Frayed A pillar trim. Headliner needs to be re-sewn along front seam. Wear and cracking on steering wheel. Worn radio buttons and door interiors. AM radio gets poor reception. Driver side window is hard to roll down when it's humid. Fuel gauge does not work. Headlights work, but turn signal recently stopped working. Dented front bumper. Stuck trunk latch. Some minor flaws in the original paint job, as shown in photos. Original owners manual included. Sold as is. I just put $1940 into it in the fall, including a new battery, new battery cables, and spark plugs, in addition to the rebuilt and resealed carburetor. Buyer must pick up. Reserve is set at $4000.
