1955 ford ranchwagon 2 door
Description
Selling my 55 Ranchwagon that I bought hoping to do a fuel-injected powertrain in it with cold air to make into the ultimate family cruiser and my plans were just going to clear over the patina and spray black with some flake on the roof and have a super cheap paint job that would look awesome but I have way too many I'm building and need to finish so I thought Id put it up and see what happens. This car will crank up with gas down the carbueretor and has a good sounding little 6 cylinder in it that would run even better with a tune-upand the clutch works and the brakes pumped up last time I tried them but you would need to go thru them before you drove it down the road and it will need a gas tank as well. The inside has the original seats that you can recover and the car needed floor pan work so its got front and back brand new floor pans from MACS that fit perfect just need to weld them in and the previous owner had a rear trunk piece carefully cut out of a parts car and its laying in the car just need to weld it in and luckily he got the spare trunk lidas well. The glovebox lid seems to be missing and the windshield has no cracks in it or the rear door glass and also the rear side glasses are good but the rest will need replacing. Its got a new ignition since the old key was lost. The body is really straight but both sides of the car have some little spots in the same areas which are both lower front fenders, lower rockers, and little bitty spot on lower door and little bitty spot on lower tailgate but these are all very simple fixes. The grill looks really good and the bumpers aren't bad either just need redippingand looks like all the side trim is there except 1 of the smaller pieces on 1 side. Its got new tail lights. The tires are just used tires that hold air I wanted to put some 3 inch wide coker white walls on it to make it look nice. I have a Clear Title to the car and I hate to see it leave because I always thought these 2 door wagons looked amazing and theres so many little things you can do th make them over the top. When I saw how straight the car was I hated to paint it but it would be beautiful with a slick paint job also. Overall this will make someone a cool and rare project to build and will be a really good investment as well as a retirement plan if you sold it down the road.
