Up for sale is a mostly original 1951 Ford deluxe custom club coupe that starts and runs very well and has been owned by the same party for over 20 years never being driven in inclement weather. Mileage shows only 26,000 that may be original but can't prove it. Despite being the highest volume bodystyle at the time, most have been junked or modified to a resto-mod. This coupe is as it was assembled and in very good condition.

Car has the Ford flathead V-8 engine that developed 100 h. p. with a three-speed column shift transmission with overdrive. It has the original AM radio, Magic Air heater, clock, hub caps, trim rings, and an oil filter. The radio needs a vibrator tube to work.

The body is damage-free with no rust. Chassis has been undercoated with no rust. The black paint was painted before the owner bought it and is still is holding up well. Chrome bumpers are in good condition with no pitting and is dent-free. The stainless trim is also in good condition with no dents or deep scratches. All glass is original having the correct Ford logo with no cracks. Interior is all original and seats have black and gray slipcovers over the original green cloth seats. The cloth headliner has been replaced with a black vinyl. Carpeting is the original style rubber that is in great condition and may have been replaced at some time. Trunk area is all original with a rubber mat and cardboard sides that may be original. Spare is a newer radial as are all of the other tires. It also has the original bumper jack.

This car starts easily, runs well, and the engine can be hardly heard turning over at idle. Transmission shifts easily and has overdrive that has not been used.
