1964½ FIRST GENERATION MUSTANG COUPE.

This 1964½ Mustang was owned by my great aunt Julia.Julia, along with her brother Herb, had a Ford Lincoln Mercury Dealership in Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin.My aunt originally sold the car in 1964/1965 to a Land O’ Lakes local named Ina.In 1975, Ina brought the Mustang back to Aunt Julia to trade it in.At that time, the Mustang had 19,000 miles on it.Aunt Julia sold Ina a new Ford Granada, and personally bought the Mustang from the dealership

The Mustang was driven in 4th of July parades and on small trips. Aunt Julia passed away in 1981 leaving the car to her sister, Cora, my grandmother.Cora passed away in 2003 and the car now belongs to my mother, Phyllis.The always garage-kept Mustang now has 36,361 original miles.

My 92 year old mother wants to sell the car.In 2005, the Mustang was running great when it was last parked in the garage.It has NOT been driven since.As well, the car has NOT been started since 2005 (when the battery was removed) and therefore may need some work to get it running. Overall the car is in excellent condition.An appraisal was done in 2005; at that time the appraised value was $15,000.

Some particulars: this is a 1964½ White Hardtop, 2 Door Coupe, 260 V8, automatic with red interior; the exterior paint is original and in excellent condition; generally the interior only requires a decent vacuuming; the bucket seats and bench seat upholstery is clean and brilliant; the headliner is first-rate and untouched; the carpeting in both the front and rear is clean EXCEPT a spill on the passenger side; the dashboard is complete and without fading; the engine compartment shows dirt and needs a good cleaning; in the photos the engine compartment shows rust, but I believe it is just dirt; the chrome is in good/great condition however it does have some pitting.The VIN is 5F07F105403.The Data Plate is: Body 65A, Color M, Trim 85, Date 27C, DSO 43, Axle 1, Transmission 6.This Mustang is in ORIGINAL CONDITION as it came from the factory.
