Sometimes it's difficult to choose between the reliability of a modern car and the character of a classic automobile. This hot little '65 Mustang convertible truly enjoys the best of both worlds. On the surface we have a 1965 Mustang convertible with the 'Pony' interior, one of the most iconic cars in existence. Under the hood lies a fuel injected '93 Ford 5.0L V8 with the power and reliability of a modern performance engine. Comfort and convenience features include power steering, power top, automatic transmission with overdrive, Rally Pac gauge cluster, original radio, and a custom console. Pieces from the GT Equipment Group incude front disc brakes, foglights, and chrome exhaust extensions. A set of Coker Classic Red Line tires on styled steel wheels compliments the red GT rocker panel stripes beautifully. Finally, a full set of seat belts will allow you to take the kids for a spin in a REAL car! The tires are bias ply red stripe so they are not as aggressive as radials for the drive but look bone stock on the car. There is a small chip on the passenger side edge of the hood. Over all this is a cool car with tons of eye appeal. The AC compressor is on the engine from the donor car but the car does NOT have AC. The fabric on the top is a bit older and has a couple of very small tears due to age. It runs and drives good.
