1940 FORD CONVERTIBLE COUPE
This is truly a very nice car. Being a body off restoration, this car starts, runs and drives the way you'd expect. A lot of thought and research went in to this restoration. As such, it is theauthentic shade /color, has the correct (rebuilt) engine, etc. Correct "split core" radiator has been re-cored of course. The interior is full leatherand is correct as well. The dash, steering column and steering wheel have been properly restored utilizing the authentic colors as well. Please note my photography skills (the lack thereof) makes the dash seem more red than the steering wheel. I assure you that is simply because I stink at taking good photographs. The dash, steering wheel, etc. all match and are the correct shade! Beautiful & correct wood grain on the window moldings, etc. This car shifts well as the transmsission was (of course) properly rebuilt. Correct Ford script wide white tires. Chrome plating is very nice. Running boards are beautiful. The top is also correct, black canvas, and is as new. And yes, it works :)
The paint is the correct marron and is darn near flawless.
All in all, this car is ready to drive and enjoy. I have priced this VERY fairly as I truly want to sell it. NO RESERVE! Go ahead and compare this one to any other(s) you see offered.Pay special attention to the details... many guys claim '"restored" but when you read their ads and / or look at the photos, you quickly realize their car is incorrect in many costly ways.
Seriously, this car is priced to sell. I have sold a number of my collector vehicles in the past year or so. You will be pleased with this one and it won't break your bank.
