Hello,
I'm selling my 1977 Ford F100 Shortbed 4x4 351m 400, C6 tranny (auto). Runs strong. I have too many house projects and other car projects, and not enough space. I paid $5k for it at the end of last year and have since put quite a bit of work into it. I'm open to discussing price, but please factor in all of the things listed below before making an offer or swinging by so we are on the same page:
-Original silver, has chipping fading hood and looks like the tailgate is a swap as it's red
The following has been done within 100 miles
-Heads rebuilt a few months ago
-New HEI distributor
-New plugs and wires
-New brake booster and cylinder
-Brake rotors, drums, shoes, and pads replaced
-New radiator
-New Sunroof (last owner put one in, then broke it)
-New battery
-New Alternator
-New Cooper 12.50R15LT M+S tires
-New water pump
-New Warn manual hubs
-Replaced all body mount bolts and bushings (cab and bed grade 8 hardware)
Cons:
-Interior is worn but expected for this year. could use an update
-Steering wheel is silly and the horn works but it's a button on the dash
-No radio but has speakers. Unsure if they work.
-As seen in the pics, body near the rain gutter has some cancer. The rest of the truck is pretty solid though
-Doors bolts need to be adjusted. Door close fine, just make some noise
-Rear window is junk. Closes but needs new window and weatherstripping
This truck is pretty bad ass looking and feels solid. As as you know the shortbeds aren't the easiest to find.
