Great American Classics is proud to offer up for your consideration this absolutely beautiful 1940 Ford Convertible Street Rod Show Car. It has won numerous awards and draws a crowd everywhere it goes. If you want to be the envy of everyone at the shows then this is the car for you. Exterior: This is not a fiberglass kit car folks. It is a real deal all steal body here. This car has undergone a complete body off restoration. The paint is a brilliant Lipstick Red with flawless trim and bumpers. All weatherstripping is like new and seals up nicely. All glass is flawless with no cracks, chips or fading. The top has been chopped 3 inches. The Haartz Cloth Top is absolutely beautiful and speaks to the quality of work put into this car. The polished Budnik Wheels really sets this classy ride off. This beauty also comes equipped with Halogen Headlights and LED Tail lights.

Interior: When you open the door you are greeted by beautiful beige Leather Interior, a Custom Billet Aluminum Steering Wheel with a tilt column, VDO White Face Gauges, Power Leather Seats, Power Windows, Billet Aluminum Pedals, door handles, mirror and the always popular Blaupunkt Radio with a CD Changer in the trunk. The Leather craftsmanship also found its way to the trunk compartment as you can see in the pictures.

Drivetrain: There are so many things to get excited about with this street rod and the drivetrain is no exception. Raise the hood on this car and you will not be disappointed. Dressed nicely in polished aluminum and chrome you will find the beating heart of a Ford 5.0 Fuel Injected Engine with a Griffin Radiator keeping it cool and a Vintage Air System keeping you cool also. The entire car is equipped with Ron Francis Wiring. The Ford Automatic Overdrive Transmission and Ford 8" Rearend with 355 Positrac Gears gets this beast down the road with power and confidence. Yes this car doesn't just look fast, it is.

Suspension: The ride quality of this car is unbelievable. It is tight and runs straight and true. The suspension is a Heidts/ TCI 2" Front Drop Power Rack and Pinion Front End and Chassis Engineering Rear Suspension. 12" Four Wheel Power Disc Brakes Stops this car great. The undercarriage of this beautiful ride is painted the same red that is on the body and is immaculate.
