Description

1960 Ford F-100 4x4 Long Bed292 V8 - Four SpeedAll Original "Un-Restored" Survivor
Multiple Award Winning Truck
It's rare to find a 1960 Ford F-100 4x4 and even more rare to find one that's all original & in this condition. The interior is clean and original as is the engine and transmission. This truck has won numerous awards and shows including National awards at the F-100 Nationals. The only faults pointed out at the most recent judging event were the condition of the dash knobs and door weather stripping. I purchased complete set of new OEM dash knobs and weather stripping that will be included with the sale. This is a very nice classic truck that anyone would be proud to own. It's dependable as a daily driver and could be driven daily with no worries. I just buffed the paint this past weekend and as you can see it has a great shine still. There are a few small paint chips but nothing to be concerned about. I do recommend anyone interested to please come inspect it in person or have a third party inspection prior to buying so you can see first hand exactly what you're bidding on. I've included 24 photos as allowed as well as a link to a video of it running. All photos and the video were taken within the past week. This is an auction to purchase this truck so if you plan to inspect it you must do so prior to the auction ending. I can be reached by phone 843-321-2802 to schedule an inspection or to answer any questions. I do have a title for it. It's currently Insured with a guaranteed replacement value of $28,000.00. The market is climbing on this particular truck and has been on a steady increase for the past five years according to a reputable classic car insurance co valuation tool. The current Market value ranges from $33,300 for condition (1) Concours to $23,200.00 condition (2) Excellent. This truck would fall between condition # 1 & condition #2. For those who may not know the difference between book values and market values, a so called book value is more less a guide while market values are based on actual sales statistics. Regardless of what kind of valuation tool you use one thing is constant in determining value and that is condition. In my search for comparable trucks that have recently sold I was able to locate only one & it's not an exact match. It's a 1959 but the closest one like mine and it sold at one of the well know Auctions for $38,500.00. This is a link to that truck,http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1959-FORD-F-100-4X4-PICKUP-43548 . Sold at Auction for $38500 and appears quite nice even though it has the incorrect interior seat material, wrong wheels and tires and no air conditioning. It is also a F-100 short bed & had undergone a complete high end restoration.
This is a top quality investment grade vehicle that should continue to increase in value the longer you own it.
