Description

I am selling my custom Ford F100 build. This truck is my pride and joy and took me many years to build and restore. It was completely restored, almost over restored, better than any of the 67-72 F100's I have ever seen. There are many custom touches to this truck, but it was designed to be a great cruiser and weekend hotrod. Truck has serpentine drive, power steering, power brakes, disc brakes, air conditioning and many more things itemized below. The engine is a fairly hot 302 motor custom build by a local speedshop, transmission is a C6 which is rare to find behind a 302. Truck was built to go 100k miles with no problems. Completely wired completely new everything. I have personally polished, replaced, touched, messaged every single nut and bolt on this truck. It is as clean on the mufflers as it is on the hood. I guarantee if you are looking for a great driving vehicle that shares the same drive-train and lineage as a mustang or bronco at less price, this is the hotrod for you. Please contact me with questions, I would recommend looking in person so you know what you are buying. Truck only has about 2000 miles on it mainly just driven for test and tune purposes to work out the bugs.
Engine compartment:
302 - 306cid built from a 70's block - roller magnum crane cam, full roller motor, 1.7 aluminum rockers, Edelbrock performer heads 1.60/202 valves, bbk shorty ceramic headers, 86 mustang serpentine belt setup, sanden a/c, Edelbrock air gap intake, balance blueprinted lower, rated at 7000rpm, true double pumper Holley 670, DUI ignition, 350-375hp motor, I am not a big fan of fabricated valve covers but they were the only valve covers that would clear the massive roller rockers.
Bosch Hydro-boosted brakes, power steering, p/s cooler hidden in frame, classic auto a/c and heater, afco aluminum cross flow radiator, electric mk IV fan with painless PWM controller, American auto wire full custom wiring kit
Trans:
C6 automatic, mild shift kit, 5 gear E40 planetary, deep vented pan, huge cooler, Hughes 2200rpm stall
Fuel:
I get a lot of questions on the fuel system - Gas tank is racing mutli-fuel bladder fuel cell 22 gal, custom mounted in the rear of the vehicle, I included a shot of how we installed it when I was building the frame up, I did not want to drive around with gas in the cab, you will also notice there is a circle track protection bar behind the gas tank because I prefer no rear bumper, bladder tank is designed for race cars and protect bar helps make this ultra safe setup. Fuel filler is accessible through door in truck bed.
Rear end - 9" ford, original tube, rear gusset brace welded on, hidden ladder bar setup (see pics in Blue) 4.11 Richmond gears true-trac posi
Suspension - Coils are 1" dropped, 2" lower rear shackles, RARE front radius arm bar FORD sway bar (you will not find this on any other factory truck really rare), Rear fabricated hidden ladder bars, full frame rail support with Teflon Heim joints 3/4 DOM bars (see pics)
Brakes - new disc spindle, factory 70's ford truck front disc brakes (converted from original drums) cross drilled and powder coated, rear all powder coated regular drums, refreshed with new parts
Wheels - These are original Boyd Coddington Wheels - They are solid billet aluminum not a cast wheel - milled 2 pc wheels
Interior - Fat Mat sound insulation everywhere, I really went nuts with this stuff
67 Mustang seats and sliding rails, all new
F600 Dash cluster, heavily modified with vintage 1970's Stewart Warner Stage 3 gauges
( the same gauges used in original Lamborghini Countach)
Lokar shifter, A/C controls work through original non a/c controller
new everything inside, along with refurbished AM only radio with 1 speaker
All light controls and knobs moved to instrument cluster custom filled in dash
Body / Paint - Truck has a chromed 1968 grill that was originally a painted item, grill is the original one made of steel, Installed are custom painted 1967 F100 badges, Hood letters filled in, we welded up those bed rails and body worked them together with no seam,
The paint is a Mercedes Color code from the 80's PPG DP series primer, sealer, base coat, clear coat paint. The Paint is show quality in many areas but not perfect. I have only been driving it for 3 months or so and there are a scratch or two and a couple of minor blemishes. Overall this is a really nice paint job and not the junk people call a drivers quality paint job, I have over $3k in the base and clear for this truck and it was done at a professional paint shop, I recommend seeing the truck yourself to determine.
Powder coating - I did a lot of powder coating on this truck, brake drums, spindles, all accessory drive, master cylinder, brake calipers, steering column, and many more parts. If it came of the truck it pretty much was powder coated.
I would strongly urge the prospective buyer to come out and look in person at this truck before buying. I am selling the vehicle locally and reserve the right to cancel this ad at any time.
$500 down payment due immediately upon purchase to hold the sale.
I can help with your vehicle shipper. Please feel free to ask any questions, but please read this description.
