Description

You are looking at a Timeless and Rare Surfin Hot Rod! This 1946 Ford Wagon has the right "Barn Find Jalopy" Look. It was recently pulled out of long storage in private car collection. It starts and stops, but has been in storage and will drive on and off your trailer. We put fresh gas in it and drove it around the block a few times, The neighbors loved that...
It has a 350 SBC V8 Motor mated to a 350 automatic transmission. Gear selection is made with a tall B&M Quicksilver shifter. Milage unkown and will need all new fluids. Many upgrades like 12V one wiring harness and alternator, Chrome Valve covers and air cleaner. Hooker Headers Straight Pipe exhaust that exit under the floor, Sound awesome! V8 radiator with a stainless overflow tank to keep this Hot Rod running Cool.
The Steel body is straight and solid overall, that said there are visible dents and some bullet holes, some visable rust through in the rockers. The front clip is shot in Hot Rod Flatz Green. Rare Woody bracket and hinges attached, tailgate hardware shows the only signs of wood still attached to the Wagon. NO OTHER WOOD INCLUDED
The interior dash is bare with working ignition and oil pressure gauge (see pics). Plush Brown outdoor seat pads over the steel seat frame, very comfortable. Vintage 60's steering wheel mated to a 60's Cadillac tilt column and Nova box. The original Sealed Beam headlights are not wired and not functioning.
A lowered ride with Custom grafted Chevy IFS with Rack and Pinon steering. Upgraded power booster and dual master with disc brakes. 4 link and coils on the 10 bolt rear end . Open drive line. E78 14" Coker Wide White Wall tires in the front, Brand new L78 15" Coker Wide White Wall tires in the rear. Red Smoothie rims with Chrome Moon caps and stainless trim rings. Stainless Gas Tank under the rear floor and the New Interstate battery is visible in the cab .
This Wagon has many upgraded parts, Not original. It is a old 60's street rod that last hit the beaches in the early 80's. This Hot Rod is titled and Registered as a 1946 Ford with a clear title and a visible vin#. Last registered in 1983 NO BACK FEES. Great for Surfin Safaries, Freaking out Hardcore Restorers or Business Advertisement, must see to appreciate!!!
This Wagon is for someone to just enjoy as a driver or take it to shows it is in no perfect it's not a trailer queen by any means but it's a very cool old car and there are not many like this around.
