Description

1979 Ford F150 Custom 4X2 351M C-6 Auto Transmission Regular Cab 8 Ft. Bed.I’ve owned this truck for 13 years, second owner. This truck was brought up from Alabama in 2001 and underwent a rather extensive restoration.Truck was completely repainted, engine and transmission rebuilt. The engine was bored .060 over.It also was topped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and Holley 600.The truck also had the front end rebuilt, brakes, suspension and fuel system. It runs and drives perfect. It has factory air conditioning that blows cold on R12.No leaks to speak of, lots of maintenance performed in the years since the restoration.Since 2004 I’ve driven it on a somewhat daily basis. There are no mechanical issues with the truck, it can be your turn key driver or made into something more. The Midwest has gotten the better of the bed as it is rusted through in many spots. The cab, frame and floors of the truck are totally solid, it needs a bed replacement. The paint still looks great, it’s a real head turner, not many of these left. The odometer reads 20,480.It was reset to 0 miles when the restoration was complete, so I have put on 20,000 miles in 13 years.Only selling because I don’t have the time or space for it anymore. This is a cool truck to drive and enjoy.
