1993 Ford Mustang Cobra Clone

The following is work that was done to the car when it was turned into a Cobra Clone:

All new Cobra body kit was installed along with a 2" fiberglass cowl hood and hood pins. Then a stock 5.0 donor motor along with a T5 transmission were selected to be the replacement for the missing components. The stock upper and lower intake were replaced with a new upper and lower Cobra intake. The stock heads were removed and replaced with a new set of GT40 heads, including a new set of 1.7 roller rockers. An E303 cam was also installed along with all new seals and gaskets on the motor. Subframe connectors were installed along with suspension parts along with lowering springs. Also the stock rear end gear was changed out with a 373 gear, then a new clutch along with an adjustable clutch cable was installed. A new set of 17" 1993 Cobra Charcoal rims and tires were installed. The car was also painted Ford Vibrant Red to complete the project.

All recent work that has been done with in the last 6 months:

A new water pump, along with a 180 degree thermostat and all new hoses were installed along with a two core aluminum radiator with a new cooling fan and fan clutch. A brand new 2.5" BBK exhaust system was installed from the headers back to the stainless steel exhaust tips along with new O2 sensors and new mufflers. A brand new Cold air intake and fuel filter was installed along with new plugs, wires distributor and a new Optima yellow top battery. A new alternator, serpentine belt Transmission seals were replaced along all new fluids for everything. The interior was taken all taken out and professionally cleaned. A new headliner/visors, new carpet, new radio, Pro 5.0 short throw shifter, new headlights, Cobra tail lights, new hood pins, new weather seals, new door handles, new moldings and lots of other miscellaneous parts that I'm forgetting to mention.

This is a Texas car and it does not have any rust or rot on it anywhere, also the strut towers are perfect along with the torque boxes. The underside looks fantastic as well. This car is a true head turner, it runs and drives great! The only thing that is missing from making this build 100% into a Cobra is Cobra steering wheel without cruise control and a set of rear disc brakes.

One imperfection the car has is a little chip that has been touched up on the driver side rear quarter panel (Picture above shows the chip) it's not bigger then the size of a dime, it's not bad at all or that noticeable . This car has a clean clear Texas title.
