1931 Ford Model A AA Firetruck
Description
This is a very nice relic retrieved very dead from a ranch north of Lyle, WA and brought back to life over the course of the past decade. The motor in her did not have an ounce of compression, however it was the original, AA# matched the frame & title, and is included in the deal. I put a sweet running A motor on her, she runs great, is very long legged and stops when needed. Front brakes are great, rear need a little tlc. Lights work, I have two vintage spotlights that go with the deal, they need some work. Truck had remnants of a small water tank in back, in fact upper sheet metal from seat on back was thrashed & rusted into near non existence. The running boards & aprons were a better quality of metal. Forged steel supports & hose reel are in nice shape. The cowl lights are 1929, because that is what she had, once again remnants, but obvious they were installed @ the factory. Truck has a special piece of sheet metal that covers the windshield area, also obviously factory. I reserve the right to end this auction @ at a moment's notice if it sells locally, word is out, but storing a firetruck is not always simple. I had headlight bar & tail light stanchions brassed. Please ask questions . If your feedback is less than 10, do not even think of bidding until you personally communicate with me. I require full payment within 10 days of auction's end. Thank you for looking.
