1962 FORD Galaxie XL 500 Convertible

Up for auction is my 1962 FORD Galaxie XL500 Convertible. I am offering it with no reserve. I have owned it for the last eight years. I purchased it from an older gentleman who has owned it for some time. He told me at the time it was an older restoration. It is finished in Chestnut with a Black interior. Both the body and the interior are in very good condition for its age. I would say both are in great shape! The convertible top is an off white color. The top is in bad shape and will need to be replaced. I have provided a photo to show where the convertible top is brittle and coming apart. To my knowledge, the engine is a 352. It is equipped with a 2 barrel carburetor. This car has an automatic transmission on the floor with power steering and power brakes. All chrome and stainless steal are in really nice shape. The car comes with original owner's manual, shop manual, sales literature, etc. I also have some miscellaneous parts that come with the car including an antenna, NOS tail light lense, fuel pump, etc. Included is an NOS heater core that will have to be replaced. Currently, it is bypassed. The car has brand new tires, near perfect hubcaps, fairly new belts, and battery, and a rebuilt carburetor. The car runs and drives nicely.
