1931 Ford Model A 90099 Miles Green Coupe 4 Cylinder Manual
Description
To this day the Ford Model A is one of the most recognizable cars on the planet and with over 4.8 million units produced in nine different body styles in its 4 year production period. It was sporty attractive well-built and smooth-running compared to the Model T which it replaced in the 1928 model year. Thousands of people were eager to see for themselves that "Henry's made a lady out of Lizzie" and they stormed Ford showrooms when the Model A debuted on December 2 1927. In less than two weeks... there were 400000 orders and Henry Ford could not keep up with the demand for his latest "gift" to an increasingly mobile nation. Despite the onset of the Depression Model A production remained strong at 1261053 cars in 1930 but fell to 626579 cars in 1931 the last year that the Model A was produced. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this gorgeous green 1931 Ford Model A. The body of this vehicle is stunning. The dark green green body is straight and the paint is excellent. It has a deep black coat of paint on the top as well as the fenders and a bright green accent pinstripe is very nice as well. The chrome trim on the bumpers and accent pieces are perfect as is the vinyl on the roof. Period looking whitewall tires are nice as well. The inside is suitable nice and has a great looking dash as well as clean upholstery. The rear rumble seat is also in great shape and has rip and stain free upholstery. With a manual transmission and a 4-cylinder engine this Model A is equipped just like many others on the market. It is the excellence of the cosmetic condition that really makes this one stand out. This car has been in the same family for 55 years but now it is time to find a new loving home. To see over 80 photos of this car including under carriage please visit our website
