Description

1932 Ford Roadster High Boy

This fellow is a 1932 Ford High Boy all steel body Roadster built by the California based B2 Design Group. The slant back windshield and the custom soft top are from Dick Rodwell's Rodware.

Article "HOT ROD NETWORK" September 6, 2006"One of the most striking features of the B2 roadster is the windshield frame. Though another “stock” item, it’s anything but. Stanley Wanlass designed this unique item (with its custom-curved windshield and posts that are leaned back 37 degrees) and it’s normally sold through Dick Rodwell’s Rodware company, but B2 worked out a deal with Rodware to have them on their roadsters. The result of this sweptback look is that the car appears like it’s going fast even when standing still!"

The engine has a Chevy 350 small block with a single four barrel carburetor. A serpentine fan belt set up and disc brakes are in place. It appears to have a mild cam. The headers can be uncapped for a more interesting sound. This car runs beautifully, and due to its low weight, is very quick. The interior and trunk are acustom leather and ostrich hide.

This is an all around, good looking classic ’32 High Boy that has an uncharacteristically smooth and comfortable ride that can genuinely be enjoyed.
