Description
Nice mostly original 1972 F100 Ranger XLT SWB with original window sticker build sheet and papers. Original Arizona truck, purchased new in Mesa, Arizona from Berge Ford. A/C is the original dealer-installed unit with new compressor; upgraded the condenser and dryer to factory setup. A/C works and holds refrigerant. Currently the second owner of the vehicle. Engine and transmission were rebuilt professionally in 2003, however, truck sat from 2005 until 2017. 390 block and transmission are original, current rebuilt heads aren't original but were bought from a local speed shop. Exhaust manifolds were swapped for headers. Paint is factory Wimbledon White/Royal Maroon two-tone.
Restoration items completed 2017:
- Radiator rod and core
- New Moog steering linkage w/ new bushings
- New quick-ratio Lares rebuilt steering box
- New starter, alternator, startersolenoid, battery cables, voltage regulator, and battery
- New 390 CFM rebuilt Motorcraft 2100carburetor
- New NOS Motorcraft turn signal switch installed (both turn signals and brake lights, backup lights, and low and high beams work)
- Four new Monroe shocks
- New power steering pump w/ new hoses
- New brake booster and master cylinder w, new front brake stainless brake hoses
- New A/C compressor
- Condenser and dryer were replaced with a factory A/C setup.
- New Moog king pins
- New Moog coils
- New in-cab reproduction gas tank w/evaporate emissions system
- New axle bearings
