1917 Ford Model T Runabout

Up for auction is this 100 year old 'tin lizzie' Model T Runabout. It has the original 'T' flathead motor. #s on the engine match the # on the title. It starts easily, idles smoothly and cool. And it runs like at top. I've been driving this 'T' around town and down our back county roads and for a 'T' it really goes down the road nicely with a lot of pep. The bands in the tranny are newer and it shifts from low to high real good. The magneto works. The tires and rims are good, however, one rim has a crack in it. The body is sound with no visible bondo or patch panels. It could possibly be partially the original paint. The paint has dings, cracks and some flaking on rear passenger fender that has been painted over. The car has a nice newer upholstery on seat and nice newer heavy canvas top. The lights work, horn blows and spark advance and throttle and magneto all work as they should. The car has a newer battery and car has electric start. This is a nice solid and good running 100 yr. old piece of American automotive history. It would be excellent for car shows and a real conversation piece!
