Thanks for Looking. Introducing Brownie:
1979 Ford F100 "Rare" 351M Motor Special Camper Edition with Air Conditioning. This Truck is a Real workhorse this engine has a reputation for lasting forever. Amazing running condition the gentlemen whom I bought the truck from towed a Bel Air from Indiana to Kingsland Ga without any issues towed like a champ...
This is an original condition F100 Camper edition, original paint as far as I can tell, body panel line up very straight for 1979, starts right up no smoking engine purrs like a kitten, transmission shifts excellent, runs straight down the road no pulls, brakes work fantastic has factory heavy Duty tow package ford 9'inch heavy duty rear. This truck tracks amazing for a 1979. Drives straight brake straight amazing truck for a 1979 Drives like an f250.
The cracked windshield is extra lol...The mechanic of Brownie is A1, the air conditioner will work needs to be converted and was told the Orings leak, Needs hood latch lever inside, hood opens with pliers on the cable, has two tanks the rear tank the gauge does not respond possible sensor. Has some minor rust...The worst part would be driver floorboard..side mirrors need to be secured. I am sure some other little bugs..Remember this is 1979 vintage truck will always need tinkering here and there. Also, have the other front bumper guard. Just took a 100-mile trip ran very well.
This is a 1979 Classic that has been very well maintained oil changes always done recent Transmission flush was told the transmission was upgraded to a heavy duty Jasper shifts really well. Also, have the other bumper guard for the front bumper, Have service records. The truck has been rust proofed when new you can see the plugs on the door jam. I have service records from the second owner.
Considering everything this Truck is a sleeper very strong will make someone a really nice truck not many out there... The second owner if interested can be reached e will be more then glad to share the full history of the truck.
