I purchased this truck in 1998 in Oceanside, California. The truck is in very nice shape and is fun to drive. All gages work including the speedometer and odometer. Heater and wipers function properly and the emergency brake works.
Truck has 156,770 original miles. Truck was mechanically rebuilt at 155,509 miles. This was not a frame off restoration, but this rust free truck ready to sand and clear coat!!
Only 12,400 4x4 F100's were sold in 1971, and most of those were long beds. I have ordered a Marti report and will update this add once I verify how many Sport custom 4x4 short beds were sold.
Hagerty insurance values this truck at $14,000, and it is in the top 10 of fastest appreciating classic vehicles.
