Because this one doesn't show a lifetime of working 9 to 5, you can really see the nice intricate sheetmetal that came on these fourth-generation F-Series trucks. Ford did an amazing job in '66 with a well-creased look that added some flair to the fenders. This one heightens the design even further with the wraparound white pinstripe against the red paint. But the white element that you'll notice the most is the unique striping package added to the hood and roof. It combines with the bright 15-inch wheels to hint at the big power this pickup brings to the streets (more in that in a moment.) Newer chrome bumpers and bright exhaust tip add to this standout package. But this bold presentation shouldn't get in the way of you using this pickup for its intended purposes. This V8 has been bored .30 over and includes all the right fortification for serious power. This includes forged Speedpro flat top pistons, chrome moly rings, stainless steel valves w/three-angle valve job, roller rockers, ARP hardened push rods, and Erson cam. And it's all topped with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and Holley Street Avenger double pumper 770 CFM four-barrel carburetor. Making sure this monster power gets to the ground is a fortified C6 three-speed automatic transmission with shift kit to keep you in the optimal powerband. This feeds a stout Ford 9-inch locker rear end with Richmond gear and a 3.89 ratio for power takeoffs. You get a muscle car like power, and so that's why you also have upgrades like power steering, the grip of Goodyear Eagle GTII tires, and front disc brakes to easily keep it all under control.
