Description

This is a really cool 1947 Ford Coupe Custom. This car was built in Ohio 30 years ago and has been taken care of unbelievably. Complete custom, zero rust ever. Chopped 4 inches with rear window laid down, and quarter windows reshaped. Channeled 4 inches as well. Door corners rounded and deck lid corners rounded as well. Frenched headlights and flushed tail lights. Custom bumpers front and rear with exhaust exits in the rear. Chassis and suspension are bone stock other than a 2 in dropped front beam. Original steering column and wheel with 3 speed on the column and a banjo rear end. 1950 Mercury flathead V8 with rare Edmunds Custom aluminum heads and Offenhauser 3 deuce intake manifold. Only center carb is being used at this time. Motor runs like a sewing machine and stays cool even in prolonged traffic. All gauges work except gas gauge, needs a new sender or I believe the current sender is just stuck. Brakes were all completely done a couple hundred miles ago. This is a daily drivable car. Interior was done 5 years ago and is full leather and is beautiful as well as trunk. Radial whitewall tires all around with brand new fronts last week with 56 mercury hubcaps. Everything on this car works, wipes, turn signals, original radio, and interior lights. Door poppers and power cowl vent. The car was pinstriped by a famous pinstriper "SHAKY" out of Southern California, and he past away over 15 years ago. This car has held up unbelievably well, and it just goes to show the craftsmanship of the builder, only spot to even talk about is by the back window where the lacquer base has started to shrink over time, please reference picture. It is only visible in certain lighting, Car still shows very nice. It has won 2 trophies in the last month and gets a TON of attention!!Cruises at 60 straight and true. One of the nicest finished chopped cars I have ever seen. Please look at the pictures and let me know if u have any questions or offers!!
Thanks
