Description

1990 mint condition ford f250 diesel. 4wd. This is a very solid and clean truck. It has the 7.3 IDI diesel with professionally installed turbo. can pull a freight train 70mph up vail pass steady and true. Clean carfax. No sign of any wreck ever or collision repair. Decent topper with racks. No keys for the topper but the door does stay up. It's easy to change the locks on them. Two sets of keys for the pickup. All owners manuals and guides included. The ford was bought new in California. The front-end on this truck is NOT worn out. The ball joints are a common problem with the IFS fords, but these are good and tight. Replaced this summer. No wheels sagging out. This truck runs nice. It has an aftermarket ATS turbo kit. It starts up great every time and all the glow plugs are good. No clouds of blue smoke when cold. A puff at start up (normal) and then it's gone. No abnormal white smoke either. The injection pump does not leak. The engine runs cool. No oil in the water or water in the oil. No abnormal ticks or knocks. Oil pressure is great. No fuel leaks. Transmission is the overdrive auto and works great. The exhaust has been straight piped. It's quiet and has no droning, but sounds good when revved up. The front-end is all tight and ball joints are good and new. One inner tie rod is new. It drives nice and straight down the road. It doesn't vibrate, pull, wander, shimmy, or anything like that. This has 4.10 gears which is fine with the overdrive. The majority of HD fords in this era had 4.10 gearing. You can put 255's or 285's tires on it to gear it up a little if needed. The 4x4 works great. It has aftermarket hubs also. Newer transfer case. This has a limited slip rear differential and I put some POSI lube in it because many people don't know it's supposed to have it. I also checked front diff fluid and transfer case. I bought it this past summer to pull my camper. just took an overseas job so im moving in january. bummed but dont need the truck sitting around while im gone. after i bought it i went through every spec of it and fixed everything that was worn out or wearing out. super reliable. brand new tires, alignment complete, airbags for rear shocks to aid in towing, new brakes, all new belts and hoses, all new u joints, completely serviced and flushed all the fluids. Backup camera installed. Piaa HID lights, drivers side window was slow so i put in a brand new motor. Interior looks like a brand new car. no rips, tears, cracks, or scratches. i was told seat covers have been on it since day 1. i put new ones on it when i bought it. AC works. owned by same owner last 25 years. an older guy in montana. after he died, i bought the truck.I was told it was stored inside its whole life and it was just an around town truck. 180000 miles. only small issues with the body are a tiny hole in the top of the hood. i was told it was buckshot that hit it somehow. very small dent on passenger side by the hood. all original paint. slightly fading on the hood but no rust anywhere.
