If you are a fan of the original first series Mustang but find them a little slow

and spartan perhaps this highly upgraded 1965 Mustang convertible with its

original factory engine now as a Stroker 302 with a Tremec 5-speed transmission

with a 9 inch posi-traction that has had a complete restoration,

this could be the car you are looking for.

The following is a detailed description of this car and feel free to ask your questions.

The car was restored professionally in 2012. During the restoration, the old interior, rag top, transmission, rear end, and steering wheel were replaced.

The interior was replaced with:

a new black Pony interior

new dash pad

carpet

sun visors

steering wheel

seat belts

kick panels

The convertible top was replaced with new pads and black top with rear glass and a new boot cover.

A new Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch was installed with a new drive shaft and Ford 9 inch posi-traction rear end.

The engine is the one born with this car, and it is now a 302 Stroker motor, and runs great.

The car has headers and a stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust system that sounds awesome.

The car has new rear leaf springs, Holley 750 carb, and new brake master cylinder. The car has electric windows and top.
